Chris Holzwarth, College Admissions Counselor
Chris Holzwarth, Director of Beyond the Applause offers specialized education, college admissions and career development planning for students in grades 6 through 12. Our services are specific to the needs of students and their families.  Chris Holzwarth is a life long student: Boston Conservatory of Music, Dance; Boston University, Psychology and Business; UCLA, College Admissions Counseling certification. She has been working in the field of education and advising for the past 25 years. Chris continues to visit colleges across the US on a yearly basis and attends conferences and groups focused on student match, college admissions and affordability. Her specialties are: experience working with performing, visual, design and communication arts students. Advise on portfolio and audition requirements to complete college application. Major and career planning services for college students.



Steven Austin (Foreign Language Instructor)

Has six years tutoring experience, from high school through college, including year in Japan in 2003-2004. Has taught each of the three languages he speaks (Spanish, Chinese, Janpanese), both formally and informally, with experience in Fulton County, Clayton County, and a college in Morrow, GA

Palak Jani (Math & Science)

With over 12 years of hands-on, successful teaching experience, she is confident in her ability and passion to become a positive addition to Creative Career Academy.

She's earned a Bachelor's degree in Science and a Bachelor's degree in Education with Mathematics and Science as majors.Being a versatile individual, she had the opportunity to effectively provide instruction to students who functioned below, at and above grade level. She has been very successful in accommodating diverse student needs by facilitating all type of learners, offering individualized support and integrating effective materials.

Alana Clark (Animation Instructor)


Graduated cum laude from Art Institute of Atlanta with a bachelors in Medial Arts and Animation.  Worked on an educational DVD for TyCan Marketing as a Character Animator. Also worked on many freelance illustration and animation jobs and am currently assisting in the creation of the Ink Foundation production house and Henley's Haven Workshops for kids. BFA in Media Arts & Animation
